Janzu— Restorative Aquatic Bodywork

You arrive with a tense body and a crowded mind. Life has been asking more than you can give, and without noticing, you’ve spent weeks breathing shallowly. You step into warm water: sound fades, weight disappears, and the skin remembers the perfect embrace of amniotic fluid. You float in a fetal position, held with care, and that rare moment appears—the one where you don’t have to do anything. You simply allow the water to move you, the breath to deepen, the heart to settle.

The mind lowers its volume; the body releases old aches and, with them, tightly held emotions. You feel safe. A simple ceremony begins—between you, your body, the water, and your inner child.

Then it happens: holotropic breathing awakens your presence; you sense the pineal gland vibrating like a clear antenna. There are no substances or external formulas—your own breath becomes the medicine. The water supports, your body remembers. You emerge different: lighter, focused, and carrying a calm that lasts beyond the session.

“I gave it to myself as a birthday gift with the intention of healing my mother–daughter relationship. I felt a connection inward, toward my maternal side, where my spine was expanding; as it expanded, it formed a human being who was my daughter, allowing me to heal our relationship.”

Natalia Rodriguez / Wellness Practitioner

¿What is Janzu?

Janzu (Yanzu) is guided aquatic massage/bodywork in flotation, a body–water wisdom practice with rebirthing qualities. It combines wave-like movements, passive stretches, and brief optional immersions synchronized with your breathing. It is as relaxing as a massage, as deep as a meditation, and as therapeutic as a ritual of integration.

“Janzu is a water massage that activates body–water wisdom and a therapeutic rebirthing approach.”

As a facilitator, I have helped many people release stress, reduce anxiety, and reach greater well-being and harmony.

About Me

Benefits

  • Immediate deep relaxation: the nervous system shifts into rest mode; improved sleep the following night.

  • Gentle physical release: the back, neck, and muscular chains soften in a state of weightlessness.

  • Safe emotional processing: when you feel supported, it becomes easier to release fears, guilt, and sadness.

  • Mental clarity & creative focus: inner silence and calmer decision-making.

  • Spiritual connection: an amniotic sense of belonging and trust; contact with your inner child.

  • Personal empowerment: you are your own medicine; you do not depend on psychotropic substances or sacred plants to access the experience.

How is it done?

1) Holotropic, conscious, and intense breathing
Conscious breathing activates the pineal gland and hyper-oxygenates the body at a cellular level, releasing tension in tendons, muscles, and organs, as well as tension in the mind and nervous system. You will breathe deeply and rhythmically; movement is coordinated with your breath to open body–mind–spirit.

2) Free Flow (natural postural memory)
Free flow is about releasing the body so its own intelligence can remember its natural posture and movement. In water, friction is reduced and the system reorganizes gently.

3) Water element
Water acts as a space of support and trust. Its warm temperature and buoyancy allow you to let go of control, release emotions, and reconnect with the symbolic sensation of the womb: a safe environment where you can surrender, trust, and be reborn.

4) Clear intention
Before entering the water, we define what you want to work on: a specific physical pain, an emotional pattern, grief, mild anxiety, creative block, or deep rest.

“It helps me connect with myself, to release, to let myself flow — something so difficult these days -; it is a deeply relaxing and liberating experience.”

Julio Meza / Yoga Instructor

Janzu is a water ceremony: aquatic bodywork in flotation that, together with holotropic breathing, activates the pineal gland and hyper-oxygenates the body, releasing tension in muscles, tendons, and organs while calming the mind and nervous system. I guide you through gentle rocking, spirals, passive stretches, and brief optional immersions synchronized with your breath; free flow allows your bodily intelligence to remember its natural posture.

You float safely in a fetal position, connecting with your inner child and that amniotic sense of belonging. There are no substances: you generate your own medicine through breath. You enter with noise and leave feeling light, clear, and centered.
